Gender and Women’s Studies Research Center, Kadir Has University (GWSRC-KHAS)
Founded in 1997 as a private non-profit institution, Kadir Has University (KHAS), http://www.khas.edu.tr/, is one of the leading mid-size universities in Turkey. More than 6,000 undergraduate students are enrolled at twenty-five different departments in the faculties of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Management, Art and Design, Communications, Law, and Applied Sciences and at nine different departments in the vocational schools.
Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin)
Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) is Ireland’s largest (28,000 students), newest (established 1 January 2019) and most innovative university. It is the first Technological University in Ireland. As a comprehensive doctoral-awarding institution, TU Dublin combines the academic excellence of a traditional university with professional, career-oriented learning, preparing graduates for productive leadership roles. The core values reflected in its mission emphasize student-centred learning, useful knowledge, rigorous processes of discovery and critical enquiry, and support for entrepreneurship and diversity.
Lund University (ULUND)
Lund University is Sweden’s largest comprehensive research university. With eight faculties covering engineering, science, medicine, economics, social sciences, fine and performing arts, law and humanities, together with a number of specialised research centres, Lund University has a breadth of research and a strong cross-disciplinary approach to finding solutions to today’s world problems. During recent years ULUND has been active in several gender equality and core values projects, which have attracted attention and support both nationally and internationally. These include the AKKA gender integrated leadership program, the gender certification project, the antidiscrimination workshops and the core-value project. The latter was a starting point for the new strategic plan of the university for 2017-2026.
Universita degli Studi di Genova (UNIGE)
The University of Genova is one of the most ancient among the European large universities. It was founded in 1933, but its history can be traced back several centuries (14th century). UNIGE is a public institution provided with scientific, educational, organizational and financial autonomy and it is involved in the building of a European area for research and advanced professional training. It operates in accordance with the principles of the Constitution of the Italian Republic and of Magna Charta subscribed by European Universities in 1988.
